Identify the TV platform
Check the television model, operating system and store region. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS have different application catalogues from Android TV. The available players can vary by region and generation. Share the details with support before deciding whether the built-in TV software is the best route.
Check the player’s separate requirements
A compatible player may need a licence from its developer or use a device identifier for activation. That is separate from your television service subscription. Confirm supported account formats and any app charge before purchasing. An application that appears in a search result may not be available on your exact TV.
Consider an external device when useful
A compatible streaming device connected to the television can provide a different player environment. Our Android player is relevant only on supported Android-based equipment. There is no requirement to buy new hardware before asking for advice; first establish what your existing television can do.
Test the remote and everyday controls
Check channel changes, guide navigation, back navigation, subtitle selection and sound. If a menu is difficult to use with your remote, mention that during the trial. Clear playback on a phone does not establish that the television’s native application offers the same features or controls.
